Bedlamb Theatre Group return to Barons Court with three short plays taking an off-beat look at how mental health problems affect the everyday ebb and flow of contemporary relationships. Me and My Friend by Gillian Plowman is a black comedy exploring such relationships between two odd couples thrown prematurely out of hospital care. In Wanda's Visit by Durang after thirteen years of marriage, life has become monotonous for Jim and Marsha. That is until an old friend with a troubled history pays a visit and forces the couple to take a long, hard look at their marriage. In The King and Me by Hanif Kureshi Maureen is obsessed with Elvis. Living on a council estate with her husband, Bob, she dreams of a better life - if only Bob could be the best Elvis impersonator in town.
