Jocelyn Pook originally made her reputation as a viola player with The Communcards, Peter Gabriel, Laurie Anderson Massive Attack and many others. Now though, she is best known as a composer, having written the soundtrack and original music for Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut and the soundtrack and TV theme for the BBC TV series, In the Land of Plenty. Tonight's performance will include a specially commissioned piece for the Fired and Inspired concert series, featuring Jocelyn's string quartet together with visuals by multi-media artist Dragan Aleksic.
