Performing original material and some jazz greats, whilst drawing on a number of musical influences including jazz, flamenco, Latin and Middle Eastern, Nicholas Meier promises an evening of rich texture and variety. Meier is a classically trained guitarist, studying under Francis Coletta at the Conservatoire Fribourg, and subsequently studying Jazz at the world famous Berklee College. He has a formidable reputation for his work with his own group touring here and throughout Europe with the likes of Elvin Jones, Brad Meldau and Trilok Gurtu. At the North Wall he will be appearing with one of the county’s premier jazz trios 3BPM, Martin Pickett, Paul Jefferies and Ben Twyford. Not to be missed!
