Queen Victoria finds herself grief stricken after losing her beloved Albert and nothing can amuse her. The people of the palace only talk of money and wealth and this saddens her further. She notices that the real people of the streets are happy despite having very little. She decided to find out their secret. To each person that makes her smile she gives a jewel from her crown. The people do not know that it is her but are overwhelmed by the generosity from a stranger. Along the way she finds friendship and true happiness. Once again, The Rising Stars Theatre Company put an amusing twist on history.
