The Confidential Clerk archiveShould you stick with art if you re never going to make it big or should you chuck it for a job with money? Will your life be a re-run of your parents ? How many false assumptions do you make about the one you love? Sir Claude Mulhammer has just taken on a new PA, ex-musician Colby Simpkins. The two of them know that Colby is in fact his illegitimate son. One day they will tell the childless Lady Elizabeth Mulhammer. Perhaps she will want to adopt him. Or so the plan goes! The hilariously eccentric Lady Elizabeth returns from her course in mind control in Zurich and decides that Colby is in fact her son by a relationship before her marriage. Only the fearsome Mrs Guzzard can resolve the problem. Both of the Mulhammers are mistaken, so whose son is Colby and should he stay or should he go? Colby nearly falls in love with the gorgeous Lucasta Angel but she turns out to be another of Claude s bastards. Instead she goes for B Kaghan who really is Elizabeth s long-lost son. Confused? They are! Performance Length: Approx. 2 hours 30 mins
