Dance+ Circus is a double bill featuring Upswing in Loved Up - a fun, fast-paced fusion of aerial dance and Hip Hop that centres on the pursuit of love. Swinging from the depths of desire to soaring passion, high quality circus is blended with theatrical performance, memorable music and the imaginative use of visual imagery; as the girls and boys come out to play, the audience will find out who comes out on top in the game of love. Dance meets Chinese Pole in the work of artist Gemma Palamour. Combining the signature high energy dynamic tricks associated with Chinese Pole, a new dance language is created as she combines slides, drops and acrobatics with the emotional and creative qualities of contemporary dance. An innovative combination of movement genres creates a dynamic and awe-inspiring piece of Dance+ Circus entitled Novos Caminhos.
