Kokoro are the contemporary arm of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. The programme for this one-off concert comprises a wonderful contrast of sound worlds: Boulez's 'Derive 1' is a dense miniature, perfect in form and orchestration from one of the true greats of the century, against the power and directness of the Montague's 'At The White Edge of Phrygia'.
