Details

Meng Yang Pan, one of the Royal College of Music's most outstanding pianists, performs Karol Szymanowski's Symphonie Concertante with the Royal College of Music Symphony Orchestra, as part of the Philharmonia's series Infernal Dance - Inside the World of Bela Bartok. Szymanowski was a Polish contemporary of Bartok, who also drew many musical influences from the traditional music of his country, developing a uniquely rhapsodic style of writing. The concert also features other works by Bela Bartok performed by the Royal College of Music Symphony Orchestra conducted by Mikk Murdvee.
