Details

Scribe archiveScribe is an experimental, abstract performance where voice is used as the sole tool of communication. The audience are taken one by one past a sea of clocks and into a dense, shadowy forest of twine. Each performer takes their words from a classic play, but uses the text as raw material for the voice. Exploring the relationship between plays and the voices that speak to them, Scribe allows the performer to extend, elongate and embellish the voice to the point of almost being human.
