A surgeon, a farmer, a vet, a beautician, a primary school teacher, a social worker and a solicitor: on the face of it, they don't seem to have much in common. But these are the Muddy Cows - a team of female rugby players with all the courage, passion and commitment of their male counterparts. And absolutely none of the cash, back-up or kit... Maggie Deakin is planning to step down as coach of the Muddy Cows. But there's one final challenge to face - the unbeatable New Zealand side, The Black Ferns. Can the Muddy Cows overcome? Or will their own personal conflicts prove their undoing?
