The Blind Boys of Alabama have spread the spirit of energy of pure soul gospel music for over 60 years, ever since the first version of the group formed at the Alabama Institute for the Negro Blind in 1939. A celebration of music, songs and songwriting in association with Peter Gabriel's Real World label, hosted by award-winning songwriter Midge Ure. From the Heart of Song is an evening in celebration of music, songs and songwriting, featuring the Grammy Award winning Blind Boys of Alabama and Tibet's foremost songstress Yungchen Lhamo.
