Ensemble 360 was formed in 2005 to take up residency in South Yorkshire succeeding The Lindsays who were retiring as a quartet. The ensemble brings together musicians from across the globe to form one versatile ensemble of eleven musicians; five wind players, a pianist, double bassist and the Elisas String Quartet. Programme includes: BACH Cello Suites No.1 & No.3 Ensemble 360 cellist, Gemma Rosefield, plays two of Bach's most intimate works, his first and third cello suites. These Suites are some of the most frequently performed and recognisable solo compositions ever written for cello, and regularly feature in film and television soundtracks. They will be complemented by other pieces that also display Bach's intricate construction, inventive spirit and expansive musicality.
