Guitarist Paul Malsom's earliest influences were Brazilian - the sound of the bossa nova and jazz samba, by names such as Antonio Carlos Jobim and Sergio Mendes. Paul's trio with bass and drums, have taken these Latin American roots and injected them into new fresh arrangements of a wide variety of popular and contemporary tunes. Acoustic guitarist Paul Malsom with Latin American percussionist and bass player perform inspired and entertaining music offering a fresh and exciting approach to bossa nova and samba and its influence on contemporary Brazilian jazz.
