The Royal Albert Hall has been hosting concerts in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust since 2000, with the biggest names in music and comedy coming together each year to raise money to help young people face the chaos of cancer. The sound of more than 400 male voices performing together can send a real shiver down your spine. And we’re expecting a genuinely spine-tingling concert next spring in support of Teenage Cancer Trust, the third such Choirs Kensington to Cardiff evening to be held at the Centre. The Musical Director of the Royal Albert Hall Festival of Male Voices Autumn 2010, Alwyn Humphreys MBE, leads the London Welsh Male Voice Choir along with 6 choirs from Wales in a rich range of classic hymns and arias. Soloists David Kempster and Elizabeth Donovan will be familiar to many of you from their performances with Welsh National Opera. Joined by World Music Congress Champions, The Cory Band, with their Musical Director Dr Robert Childs and Frank Lincoln as compere.
