Founded by Michael Law this 12 piece group have recreated as closely as possible the wonderful sounds and rhythms of the golden age of dance orchestras in the 20s, 30s and 40s. Stylish, sophisticated, smooth... Michael Law's Piccadilly Dance Orchestra, recently featured on BBC 4's hit programmes Len Goodman's Dancing Feet and Len Goodman's Dance Band Days, recreate the glamour of the golden age of popular music, the 1920's to 40's, along with a hearty helping of foot-tapping jazz and 'hot' dance music. Join us to rediscover the lost, magical world of Broadway and Hollywood music from between the wars including Night and Day, Anything Goes, I Get A Kick Out of You, Say It With Music, My Heart Belongs To Daddy, A Room With A View and Mad Dogs and Englishmen.
