The East Midlands' first contemporary ballet company, New English Contemporary Ballet launches itself with a tour of the region, bringing a mixed bill of work both by established European choreographers and by home-grown talent. Eight classically-trained but modern-moving young dancers will thrill with their virtuosity, touch the emotions with their lyricism and amuse with their quirky, athletic humour. Their debut programme, artistic and accessible in equal measure, is guaranteed to delight audiences of all ages.
