The Love Inn archiveIn February 2013, 35 playwrights gathered from across England to spend the night at the Octagon Theatre writing, talking and creating new ideas. Out of this experiment, four professional playwrights have been commissioned to develop The Love Inn - a unique exploration of new writing in the North West. Join us on Midsummer night at a secret location to see the results of this experiment come to life in a very special evening of theatre. Writers taking part in The Love Inn include award winning writer-producers Jennifer Tuckett (The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and Peter Pan, Octagon Theatre Bolton; joint winner, Old Vic New Voices Theatre 503 Award) and Amman Paul Singh Brar (Blackout, The Dukes Theatre Lancaster; BBC Writersroom 10) who will work alongside writers Hannah Rodger, Luke Bailey, Lee Sutton and Ian Winterton. The Love Inn is a collaboration between The Alligator Club and the Octagon Theatre Bolton and is a year long investigation of new writing in the North West: www.thealligatorclub.co.uk
