OAP archiveAn exploration into the fear of growing old and becoming a miserable old trout. Suitable for the immature and decrepit alike. On the brink of turning 40, Ursula Martinez looks ahead and tackles unspoken fears and fantasies about getting old. Her frank and funny picture of the lonely, eccentric existence which she imagines for herself is set alongside a number of interviews with old people which she and Mark Whitelaw gathered from around London. They map out an old age more complex, satisfying and scary than one conjured up by the young, and by the end of the show we are confronting deeper questions about the course of our lives and how we change.
