This Sceptred Isle will be a sarcastic but affectionate look at Britishness today, via Shakespeare and Bill Bryson, Oasis and Osborne. Inspired by Northern Stage’s production of Look Back in Anger this spring, final year degree students from Newcastle College have been working on their own piece of theatre, responding to the themes of Osborne’s play.
