Shanghai, summer 1943, an outwardly normal family is trapped in a dark web of hidden desire which threatens to destroy them. Xu and his eighteen year old daughter Lin have feelings for each other that test the ultimate boundaries of love. The play is adapted from Lust, Caution by Shanghainese writer, Eileen Zhang to tell a gripping yet compassionate tale of taboo in pre-communist China.
