There are fine lines between genius and insanity and the performers at the month's Word of Mouth event wrote most of them. This March, Word of Mouth offers a gibbering gaggle of leftfield lyricists in an event entitled Box of Frogs. One of these artists is Rob Auton. He has ideas and sees if other people like those ideas by standing on a stage and saying them out loud. He also co-runs the London-based spoken word extravaganza Bang Goes the Gun and was recently described by film director and actor Paddy Considine as: "A very funny man." Word of Mouth is a series of monthly spoken word performances launched in 2010 in a new collaboration between Bristol Old Vic, Word of Mouth and The Thunderbolt Pub. Last month's sell-out event Love Box pitched two teams of poets against each other debating the pros and cons of love.
