A Black Madonna, a West African hero or a sovereign willing to do anything to reign? A play based on the life of Ashanti Princess Abraha Pokou and her legendary journey to create a new nation. This new poetic piece of drama tells Pokou's story exploring her personal relationships set against the wider historical themes of the time.
