Rachel Lopez de la Nieta created The Devil and the Details as one of the commissions for The Place Prize 2011, a humorous piece where three performers unpick and unravel the choreographic process, featuring Rachel together with dancers Ben Ash and Thom Rackett. Niv Sheinfeld, one of the leading choreographers on the Israeli dance scene, and dramaturgist and performer Oren Laor bring to the stage Big Mouth, in which they perform with dancer Karen Levi, spinning into a march based on Israeli folk dance steps. Trapped in a conflict between their desire to become part of the system and the need to explore their personal identities, Big Mouth is a deeply personal examination of the clash between individual identity and the Israeli collective consciousness.
