Interruptions archiveInterruptions shows an imaginary country preparing for an election, undergoing a military coup, and then living through the consequences. Originally devised by Annabel Arden and Stephen Jeffreys, Represent now has the privilege of staging its UK premiere with a new adaptation. Jeffreys' wife Annabel Arden writes: "Interruptions sprang from Stephen's fascination with the Japanese aesthetic principle of Jo-ha-kyu and his desire to create a particular narrative form to express our struggles with democracy and leadership." It asks the questions: Do we need to be led? How do we decide who leads? What happens when there are no leaders?

CORONAVIRUS: All venues in the UK were shut down on March 16, 2020, and the restrictions were finally lifted on July 19, 2021. It is important to mention that the UK Theatre Web archive listings (iUKTDb) from March 2020 to July 2021 might not be accurate due to the lack of information regarding rescheduled and cancelled shows.
