A disorienting mix of riff rock, "found" sound, analog synthesizers, falling-apart song structures and careening vocals. Hugely influential on generations of forward-thinking musicians, they are among the most critically acclaimed American groups. Pere Ubu changed the face of music and influenced two generations of bands from Joy Division to Henry Rollins. Tonight they perform a live soundtrack to Jack Arnold's 1953 cult, sci'fi, 3D classic It Came From Outer Space. 3D glasses provided.
