Wild Card is a Sadler's Wells initiative that gives artists the opportunity to present the work of their choice. It aims to bring fresh ideas to the stage by giving young creators a platform to share the work they admire. As part the ever popular Wild Card series of artists curated evenings, this spring we delve in the world of Adrienne Hart's up-and-coming company Neon Dance, in an evening of live music, design and dance, part of the international Piano Day conceived by the acclaimed Berlin producer and musician Nils Frahm. Collaboration is at the heart of every Neon Dance production with Hart inviting artists from different disciplines to come together on the same level playing field. For Wild Card, Neon Dance presents excerpts of Empathy, choreographed by Hart in conversation with Professor Simon Baron-Cohen (Zero Degrees of Empathy), and developed with an award-winning, internationally renowned team. Artists, collaborators and special guests will feed into a rich evening of up close performances and live music encounters, with a special place given to the piano
