Ovid’s Roman myths are relocated to 1940s Britain and reinvented in swing-time style with innovative multimedia use of puppets, film, sliding screens, gasmasks, gramophones, dance, music hall and torch songs. At a time when humankind finds itself on the brink of 'change' these prescient ancient myths strike a poignant chord.
