Every year, right at the end of summer Esme comes to stay with her Nanna and Granddad. This year Nanna isn't here and Granddad doesn't know how to say that she isn't coming back. So he tells her that Nanna's joined the circus! Mike Kenny's gentle, funny play explores how adults and young children talk to each other. From an original idea by Gavin Stride.
