The Time Step archiveCid and Ginger are sisters. They live together, tap dance together, and raise Cid's child together. And in this house full of frustrated dreams, both women's longings are projected on to five year-old Toni. Especially now that the Little Miss West Ways All Variety Shopping Mall crown is up for grabs. When makeup is thickly applied and the pink paint on the walls is several coats deep, it can be difficult to get the bottom of things... Award winning actress and director Linda Marlowe joins forces again with acclaimed new writer Matthew Hurt following the success of her 2 solo shows, 'Believe' and 'Mortal Ladies Possessed' which have toured extensively in the UK and abroad. Inspired by watching Linda's last collaboration as director for Art Official, Matthew wrote this exciting new play for the company. They are thrilled to be working for the first time with Nick Barnes and Mark Down of Blind Summit on the puppetry and design. This production has been made possible because of the collaboration and continued support of the Nightingale Theatre, Brighton and is funded by the Arts Council, England.
