Oliver Dragojevic archiveOliver Dragojevic is recognized as one of Croatia’s most popular singers and musicians. Dragojevc emerged onto the music scene in the 1970s. His music was influenced by Dalmatian folklore. Most of his early songs were written by popular songwriter Zdenko Runjic. One of the most famous was 'Nadalina', which also featured actor Boris Dvornik, and the popular 'Dalmatian anthems' "Galeb i ja" and "Skalinada". Dragojevic maintained his popularity in ensuing decades, becoming more influenced by global music trends. After his collaboration with Runjic he recorded several more albums that proved his ongoing popularity. In recent years Dragojevic has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York and the Olympia in Paris.
