The award-winning Skierlik revisits the horror of the racially motivated shootings that devastated the remote settlement of Skierlik, RSA in 2008. We too experience the tangled emotions of Thomas, who has lost his family in the atrocity, as he returns home to his tiny blue shack after running from the unbearable burden of living alone in the family home.
