10s 12lbs is a performance in which a set of electronic weighing scales are used to trigger over 300 sound samples. The objects used in the performance are organised according to weight value and placed onto scale. In the performance Newman takes on a directorial role in which the objects are placed onto scales to create a soundtrack to a series of actions.
