Welcome to Irelantis where pyramids nestle in Carlingford Lough, ecstatic nuns revel outside a casino at Powerscourt and Newry Gagarin, celebrated cosmonaut, hovers over the Dublin streets. Wielding a scalpel and some glue, Hillen weaves fragments of old postcards and other found materials into elaborate collages, creating a fantastic and seemingly possible Other Place.
