Millennium Photography Competition Exhibition
T0
In September, BBC Northwest Tonight in association with North West Arts Board ran a photography competition for viewers to capture a moment of life in the north west at the end of the 20th century. The competition was divided into five categories: education, work, home, sport, leisure and culture. The photographs generated should act as a lasting memory of life in the region, reflecting what people feel about where they live as they enter the new millennium. The overall winners were announced on BBC Northwest Tonight in November but this exhibition gives us a glimpse of some of the other entries from Cumbria. So, if you submitted a photograph, come along and see if you can spot it.
