In her new show Noir - Songs Of Love, one of Crazy Coqs favourite and most popular artists Amanda McBroom performs songs by a wide range of highly admired songwriters including Johnny Mercer (That Old Black Magic), Harold Arlen, Tom Waits (Blue Valentine), Jacques Brel and of course some of her own well loved self-penned numbers including The Rose which became an international hit for Bette Middler and Errol Flynn. McBroom mixes in a gentle blend of personal anecdote, philosophy and of course humour, offering an unusually direct and honest vision of life as a process of gaining wisdom, whilst letting go of cherished dreams.
