As a pianist and guitarist, Teplin studied music at the New England Conservatory in Boston and later moved to Nashville to attend Vanderbilt University. Deanna Walker, his professor at Vanderbilt, recognized his high level of musicality in songwriting. She believed in his extraordinary talents and encouraged him to pursue music, in hopes that his songs would be heard by a broader audience. | |
