A few years ago, these two very chatty actors got to discussing what roles they might like to take on together only to discover that most musicals only had room for one three-dimensional, sad, funny woman who makes us laugh and cry and encompasses all the messy glorious-ness of what it is to be a human. Without staying strictly relegated to separate boxes (one funny big boob lady, one morose waif) it seemed they may never occupy the same performance space. And they weren't having any of that.
