10 years ago, West End stars Lauren Samuels and Sophie Evans were brought together for the hit BBC competition ‘Over the Rainbow', the search for Dorothy in the new West End production of The Wizard of Oz. Sophie subsequently completed her West End debut in the leading role of Dorothy in Lord Lloyd-Webbers production and has since starred as Glinda in the West End production of Wicked. Lauren has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical for Bend It Like Beckham and her further West End roles include Sandy in Grease and Scaramouche in We Will Rock You. Both in great demand on the concert platform throughout the UK and no strangers to Crazy Coqs, the firm friends reunite for this special concert to celebrate the actress and singer Judy Garland, most famous for her role in The Wizard of Oz. Songs will include Get Happy, The Man that Got Away, On the Sunny Side of the Street, Stormy Weather, The Trolley Song and of course Over the Rainbow!
