Following in the footsteps of her friend Emile Parisien, Martial trained at the celebrated Coll?ge jazz of Marciac, and hesitated between a career as an actress or a musician, before finally taking France by surprise two years ago with the release of her "Dance Floor" album. Her new band was recently selected in France by the AJC festival network. Award-winning French singer, Leila Martial, makes her UK debut as she inhabits a captivating sonic universe, new wave jazz and rock amidst a flurry of vocal madness. Martial is joined by Pierre Teyregeol (guitar, vocals) and Eric Perez (drums, human bass, vocals). This young, new, captivating voice has made a sensational entrance into the world of jazz "divas".
