Phoebe Ray archiveA play on BBC Radio 2's Breakfast show was just the start of things for London-born musician Phoebe Ray. Having met Chris Evans at a charity event he loved her voice so much that he played her unmastered demo on primetime radio to unanimous praise. Classically trained, but inclined towards the contemporary, Phoebe writes "beautifully bittersweet pop melodies" (Indie Shuffle) expressing at all times an emotional honesty and lyrical sincerity. Her previous single 'Drops of Bliss' , from her debut EP 'PREP' received acclaim from Planet Notion, Wonderland, The 405 and SBTV to name a few. Citing Jessie Ware, Tove Lo, and Halsey among her current influences Phoebe is primed to join the ranks of solo female artists currently storming the music scene. Phoebe recently performed alongside rising British producer Draper, with whom she has previously collaborated, on his recent tour supporting Lisbon.
