Robin Phillips: Sing. Play.. For Pleasure - Album Project archive

The 'Sing. Play' album is a vocalese pilgrimage, inspired by one of the genre's often-forgotten originators; King Pleasure... To add a new element to this genre, Robin uniquely combines voice and piano as he plays, as well as sings, the vocalese lines in unison. He has also added his own original lyrics to other solos, creating new vocalese tunes.
