The trio, who hail from Ammanford and Swansea, have only been performing together since November of last year and have already racked up a series of successful dates across the UK, performing alongside some of the country’s biggest names. They are also the resident dancers at Bluestocking Lounge, a regular night that brings some of the UK’s finest burlesque and alternative cabaret and comedy acts to Swansea and Carmarthenshire. And now they’re set for London armed with routines including a comedy Inspector Clouseu Vs the Pink Panther and their more sci-fi Human Fly fan dance, which they hope will take them through to the finals in a few months time. "The current wave of burlesque has brought the art form to the mainstream and there are so many new and exciting artists and dancers as well as amazing established acts, and with all that talent out there already, we can’t believe how quickly this has all happened for us," Lala Rouge explains. "But we’re really hoping to do Swansea proud, and hopefully inspire other ladies to get involved and put the city on the map as one of the producers of quality acts."
