Inspired by the Spring season, with echos of Stravinsky's Rite of Spring and all its joyeux implications, Spring is a colourful new production from Gandini Juggling and acclaimed contemporary choreographer Alexander Whitley. A kaleidoscopic show, Spring is visually arresting from the outset and at the vanguard throughout. Featuring a cast of jugglers and dancers, it is an innovative cross artform experience which challenges notions of movement and physicality, exploring the relationships between contemporary dance, circus and music. With original music by Gabriel Prokofiev, geometrically eye-popping lighting design from Guy Hoare, and costume design from Lydia Cawson.
