This year she cements her comedy credentials with a clever, touching and very funny follow up. Flying Solos is the thrilling new stand-up show and is a demonstration that proves ’Going it alone’ has never been so exciting, and why it is vital that everyone gives it a go. A gifted storyteller and joke smith, Celia reveals why striding out of the ‘safe zone’ and stepping up is the only way to go. Her spark is a gut full of courage, her show a reflection of life’s roller-coaster ride of challenges, which she turns into a tale of fun and mischief. Part of this story is the musical challenge she has set herself. Captured on video during a series of late night rehearsals, she is happy to share her vulnerability, despair and struggle for our amusement but it cannot fail to inspire all of us, to step out, to step up and to take that chance.
