There's a financial crisis at the Christmas club. The whole village have been saving all year and now want their money to buy presents. But poor Geordie Bailey has to tell them there is no money. Not unreasonably, everybody wants to kill Geordie and soon he finds himself on a bridge, wishing he'd never been born. Luckily for Geordie he has a guardian angel, Clarty. Unluckily for Geordie, Clarty still hasn't earned his wings, because he's hopeless at being an angel. Can Clarty save Geordie, and can Geordie save Clarty, and can the savings club save their Christmas savings, saving Christmas? Probably. Remember, no man is a failure who has friends...even if he has poorly invested fourteen grand of their hard-earned money.
