Sophie Black tries out some new character material ahead of Edinburgh. Meet Belarus’s first female drag act, the radio DJ who’s the eighth (or nineth) person they call if someone drops out on Hole in the Wall and discover how "an embarrassing mix-up" led to a one-night stand with Norfolk farmer Tony Martin. Sophie was nominated for an if.comedy best newcomer award in 2006 and Chortle best sketch group award in 2007 as part of Fat Tongue. Since then she has written and performed with BBC 3, Radio 4 and Radio 7. Other Pleasance shows include Improtwat and The Institute of the Unexplained.
