One of the unusual qualities about 4 in Perspective is the eclectic and creative mix of their music, coupled with true improvisational skills. The programme contains a number of original pieces by Fred Hersch and Kenny Wheeler. Norma Winstone has used her considerable talent as a lyricist to write words to four of the compositions and the inspirational Paul Clarvis brings his unique style of percussion to complete the ensemble.
