March 17th 2023 will be opened and closed by uplifting performances by the Cardiff Military Wives Choir Caerdydd followed by Ken Hames Ex Special Forces who offers a unique insight into his life as a soldier and explorer. Ken's adventures have taken him to some of the remotest places on earth, through jungles, across deserts and over mountain ranges. From humble beginnings on his grandfather's hill farm, he spent some 30 years in the Army, then joining (as he calls it), the more dangerous world of civilian life where he pursued a new career in TV and expeditions helping veterans on the way. Ken has had a fascinating life and hopes you will join him for the next part of his journey!
