African Children's Choir

The choir was brought to the attention of the British public by the 1990 BBC documentary 'The Visit', directed by Desmond Wilcox. In February this year the choir and its founder Ray Barnett were the subject of an hour-long programme on BBC2 presented by Esther Rantzen.

Production details

Newtown Pentecostal Church is sponsoring this visit by the famous African Children's Choir. All proceeds of this concert will go to the African Children's Choir. During the interval a collection will be made to support the work that is being done in Africa to help orphaned children and poor families.
