Renowned South African playwright, composer and musician, Mxolisi Norman has worked in Namibia, Senegal, Prague, the UK, USA, Berlin, Mauritius and Zimbabwe. He was the first Black artist to win the prestigious South African Schreiner Prize amongst other awards. Norman has also had academic Fellowships to France, Germany, Senegal and the UK (Goldsmiths, Bristol). His last play was published by New York University Press and he has created 11 original South African Musical and Theatre works. He has also taught and conducted Master classes in Musical Theatre at South African, UK and other Universities. His work combines African indigenous sounds with American Jazz. Running time: 40mins followed by a 15min Question and Answer session
